Dr. Addrain Conyers

Assistant Provost for Faculty Development; Associate Professor of Crime and Justice Studies

Bio

Addrain Conyers is Assistant Provost for Faculty Development and Associate Professor of Crime and Justice Studies. He holds a doctorate in sociology. His teaching and research interests center on criminology, deviant behavior, corrections, social psychology, and race relations. He has authored and edited numerous articles, chapters, and readers in the areas of deviance and criminology, and is the recipient of multiple teaching and mentorship awards. Dr. Conyers is a member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) and Criminal Justice Educators Association of New York State (CJEANYS).
